JPMorgan has announced the release of a new suite of sustainable investment data products aimed at institutional investors. This offering provides carefully selected data from various market data providers, giving investors access to comprehensive information to support their sustainable investment strategies.
The product suite, available through JPMorgan’s data analytics platform Fusion, combines data from reputable sources such as Bloomberg, Equileap, FactSet, ISS ESG, MSCI, RepRisk, Revelio Labs, S&P Global, and Sustainalytics. With a range of tools for analysis, scoring, stock-selection, compliance monitoring, and reporting, the platform offers investors the flexibility to customize their metrics and effectively manage their portfolios.
One of the main challenges in sustainable investing is the lack of standardized data across providers. JPMorgan’s Fusion platform addresses this issue by enriching the data with common identifiers and delivering it in standardized formats, making it easier for investors to combine and analyze multiple datasets.
Gerard Francis, the head of data solutions at JPMorgan, highlighted the significance of this new offering, stating, “Data for sustainable investing is particularly challenging given its scale, inconsistency, and incompleteness. We are pleased to work with our providers to deliver a unique and transformative solution for investors. Fusion combines data, technology, and service at scale, enabling investors to extract value in minutes instead of months.”
With the launch of this product suite, JPMorgan aims to provide institutional investors with the necessary tools and information to make informed decisions and drive positive change through sustainable investing.
